What about quality? We carry only high quality jewelry. We stand behind our jewelry. In order to keep our prices low, we cannot carry jewelry that is not of good quality. If we did, we would be incurring the cost of repairs - ultimately affecting our bottom line. Therefore, we only carry quality merchandise and pass the savings on to you. Our History:
In 1939, Al Jester, along with his wife Helen, took his skill as a diamond setter and his knowledge of the jewelry business and opened his own shop. In the beginning, the A.R. Jester Company did repairs, custom work and sold to small independent jewelers. They would purchase diamonds and other precious stones in volume from the "cutter" and manufacture fine jewelry pieces. Then they would pass along these buying efficiencies to the small "mom and pop stores".
Randy Jester, their son, joined the business over forty-two years ago at their downtown Cincinnati location. He learned about the jewelry industry and good business practices from his parents and became a GIA certified diamond expert. Their business continued to grow as did the family tree. In 1994, a third generation of Jesters joined the business. Carrie Jester-Mullins started working for her parents and grandparents and was shortly joined by her younger brother, Alan.
Over the years Jester Jewelers has had a handful of direct customers - mainly family, friends and friends of friends. But, this circle has grown as more and more people have experienced the expert service, high quality and exceptional value of buying jewelry wholesale.
In 2008, Randy and his wife, Pauli, who have taken over the business from the late Al and Helen, decided to move from the once-booming downtown Cincinnati. They relocated to the area where they were raised and where they chose to raise their family - the West Side of town. This new location offers easy interstate access, free parking and a little more room for their long-time employees, Mark Jaeger, Mary Presutto, and Mike Jones. Combined they have over 100 years of hard work, experience and dedication with Jester Jewelers.
In addition to convenience, the Harrison Road location offers the ability to open our doors to those who wants to take advantage of our low wholesale price, repair services and custom jewelry design and manufacturing.
